If you’ve ever wished you could get that acceptance letter to Hogwarts – or even if you want a fun fantasy game you can sink yourself into for hours and hours and hours – this is what you’ve always dreamed of. It’s hard to imagine another game topping this one in 2023.

Gaming Nexus Feb 14, 202The bottom line is that Hogwarts Legacy is fun. Exploring the school, Hogsmeade and the surrounding hamlets is rewarding. The spells feel like they’ve come alive from the pages of the books. Combat is exciting and very challenging on the higher settings. But it’s not without some faults. Glitches are encountered frequently, and some parts of the game can be frustrating. On PS5, Hogwarts Legacy looks and runs great. If you’re really into the world of Harry Potter, or open world games in general, you are going to love Hogwarts Legacy.

DualShockers Feb 13, 2023Avalanche Software has meticulously re-created Hogwarts down to such minute details that it’s sure to bring out the child in most of us — it is, doubtlessly, a gorgeous realization of the Wizarding World. Attending classes, taming beasts, exploring Hogwarts, and learning new spells could keep you occupied for hours, but it’s nowhere near a groundbreaking experience. If you strip the Harry Potter IP away from Hogwarts Legacy, you’re just left with another standard RPG that we’ve seen countless times before.

cesarlr3 Feb 9, 2023Pure perfection! Gorgeous to look at and with an endless stream of things to do and places to explore. My only tiny complaint is the lighting issues that can be noticeable when walking into a new room / area. But while that can be a bit bothersome, the sheer perfection of the world design and combat make this game a truly exceptional one and very much deserving of a 10.
